Temperatures reached over 100 degrees on Saturday July 16 but this didn’t stop local families and friends from attending The All Nations day in the park.

The All Nations Church of Mission sponsored an event day for families and friends. Bounce houses, three inflatable obstacle courses, horse rides and games were set up for the children.

The All Nations church was also giving away sandals, blankets, winter wear, and back packs. Back packs were packed full of such school items as tablet paper, crayons, markers, colored pencils, glue, rulers, scissors, pencils and pens, everything the kids need to be ready for school.

There was also cook-out food and popcorn available to the crowd. To help everyone stay cool on that hot day sno-cones were given out along with lemonade, water and gatorade.

A total of three games which involved giant size pennies sliding down a board into prize slots, bean bags thrown thru  holes  cut out of a board, giant blue frisbee tossed into the wooden cut-out cookie monster’s” mouth and mini-golf. Each game offered a small candy prize whether or not the participant won or not.

Although the All Nations Church was recently subjected to break ins and vandalism, they still managed to pull this day together for everyone on the RST Reservation. Everyone who attended were in high spirits showing that they appreciated the hard work the All Nations Church members did to make this day possible.
